I've been traveling around Philippines and really want to buy a condo: i) in an area that has tourism but not not too developed yet, ii) in an area where infrastructure is being invested in, iii) that has close proximity to the beach. Which areas do you think I should consider?
The purchase is for growth with a 5 year horizon, let's say. Balanced with Airbnb type rental. Could be at a price of P3-4M.
I was in Panglao, not a fan of investing in specifically Alona Beach though. Hard to find condos for sale in other parts. Siquijor has not much. Camaya Coast has a huge amount of criticism from previous purchasers cos promises not being kept. San Vicente sounds great, but no condos at this stage. Batangas has been mentioned, but there are different areas there. Other parts of Boracay are being developed, but seems like the other beaches may not be so great and prices are inflated (aside from current issues).
I'm not wanting to debate condo vs house/land etc, but would like suggestions to use the assumptions provided. I'm aware of buying through a reputable source etc and have good contacts in terms of a lawyer etc.
